The rehabilitation objective
Rehabilitation for all age groups – from infants and toddlers to children and adults
Our main objective is to improve the quality of life and independence of the patients. Therefore, one of the goals is to develop the ability to walk and speak as well as self-care ability, but we also strive to achieve non-dependence on family members and in ideal cases, to reintegrate the patient into his/her working life. In case of rehabilitation of children, the main objective is to avoid severe disability in the future and to aid normal physiological development as much as possible. We have learned from our rich experience that it is of utmost importance to start with the rehabilitation as soon as possible.

Scientific Advisor at the ADELI Medical Center
”One of the main areas of the ADELI Medical Center is paediatric neurorehabilitation. From its beginnings, the center provides care mostly for children with neurological deficits caused by birth trauma. The center has considerable experience in the treatment of young children in infancy. When neurological problems are treated early, the plasticity of the brain can be utilised and thus the chances for improvement are substantially higher.”
Location of the ADELI Medical Center
Our rehabilitation center is located in the well-known spa town of Pieštany in Slovakia and is only 140 km from Vienna.
The spa town of Pieštany is located at the source of a unique sulphur-rich mud and thermal waters with medicinal benefits – the properties of these natural sources have made the spa town into one of the most important European centres for patients suffering from disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The symbol of the town is a man breaking his crutch – a metaphor that once you visit Piestany, you will no longer need a walking aid.
“The ADELI Medical Center at Piestany is equipped with all the facilities of modern neurorehabilitation.”
